In order to fully support foreign trade enterprises, maintain the foreign trade market stable development, relieve the pressure in shipping market, ShenZhen Communications Bureau takes the initiative to work with some enterprises to coordinate shipping companies, foreign trade enterprises to add tramp vessels. Alibaba OneTouch has opened the line toward US West Coast. In the second week of August, there will be a direct clipper route from ShenZhen to Los Angeles.

Shenzhen port will continue to improve its turnover efficiency, increase its capacity input, and try its best to alleviate the adverse effect caused by the shortage of shipping capacity, so as to ensure the smooth logistics for import and export enterprises.

According to data from June 24, since the full recovery of production operation in YanTian port, ShenZhen has remained its momentum in terms of the container throughput which has reached new highs, with many times more than last year's average daily throughput, e.g. YanTian district in July 24, 47400 - teu, 129.51% of the average throughput reach 2020 days.  

As of July 31 in this year, ShenZhen port has handled 16.1492 million TEUs of containers, up 19.84 percent from the same period last year and 10.03 percent from the same period in 2019, when there was no pandemic.  

On July 30th, under the support and guidance of relevant departments of Shenzhen municipal government, ShenZhen Port Dachanwan Port organized and coordinated the overtime ship "Hongfa Shanghai Ship" to open a direct route to Europe.  Sufficient manpower was deployed at dachan Wan Pier to expedite the loading operation to ensure the smooth sailing of export goods.  

The opening of "Hongfa Shanghai", provided by Chinese-Polish Joint Stock Shipping Company, has provided much-needed assistance to export enterprises in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and effectively alleviated some urgent shipping space demand. Therefore, on the afternoon of July 30, Xiaomi Technology Co., Ltd. and ZTE Corporation, as representatives of enterprises, presented a banner to ShenZhen Transportation Bureau and Baoan District government to show their gratitude.  

Shenzhen Municipal Transport Bureau will continue to work together with companies to overcome difficulties,  to do a good job in epidemic prevention and control and making sure smooth sailing, and to implement trade measures. The Bureau wil also support ports to maintain their operation efficiency, guide shipping companies continue to increase the supply capacity of ShenZhen export routes to improve the efficiency of container flow. ShenZhen has determined to make overall port epidemic prevention and control work,  to work hard to ensure the stability and smooth flow of shenzhen port logistics supply chain.
