Integrated logistics services are more profitable.

The 2021 Fortune Global 500 list was released on August 2.

In the shipping sector, COSCO Shipping Group co., LTD., Maersk Group, and CMA CMA Group of France made the list, according to the ranking of global companies based on their operating revenue in 2020.  

Overall, the ranking of shipping companies has risen to some extend compared with the previous year.  

According to the list, COSCO Shipping Group's revenue in 2020 was us $47.998 billion, ranking 231st globally, up 33 places from 264th last year. Maersk group's revenue in 2020 was $39.74 billion, ranking 297th in the world, up 23 places from 320th in the previous year. Cma's 2020 revenue was $31.445 billion, up 22 places from 415 in the previous year to 393rd in the world. 

The profits of the companies on the list are also revealed.  

Among them, the profit of COSCO Shipping Group in 2020 was 1.471 billion US dollars, increasing 35.4% year on year, the net interest rate increased 3.1% year on year, and the asset scale exceeded 130.251 billion US dollars.  Maersk made a profit of $2.85 billion compared with a loss of $84 million in the previous year, with Its net interest rate increasing by 7.2% year-on-year, and its assets exceeded $56.117 billion.  CMA CGM of France reported a profit of $1.755 billion, compared with a loss of $229 million a year earlier. Net interest rates rose 5.6% from a year earlier.
