Introduction of Zhuhai Port (CNZUH)

Zhuhai port is located on the West Bank of the Pearl River Estuary, adjacent to the sea and strangling the river. Crossing the Pearl River Estuary by sea, it can reach Shenzhen and Hong Kong, 36 nautical miles away from Hong Kong; It is 928 nautical miles from Shanghai in the north; The distance from Zhanjiang and Haikou to the south is 217 nautical miles and 255 nautical miles respectively. Yamen, Hutiaomen, jitimen and Modaomen waterways of the Pearl River system all pass through Zhuhai City and enter the sea. Zhuhai port has good port construction conditions and unique location advantages. It is one of the 25 major coastal ports and an important hub of the national comprehensive transportation system.

After more than 30 years of development, Zhuhai port has formed a port pattern with Gaolan Port in the West as the main part and Wanshan port in the East as well as Jiuzhou, Xiangzhou, Tangjia, Hongwan, Doumen and other ports developing together. The planned port coastline length is 110560m. By the end of July 2012, there were 131 berths in Hong Kong, including 126 productive berths and 17 berths above 10000 tons. The handling capacity of the port is 70.01 million tons, and the container handling capacity is 1.39 million TEUs. Zhuhai port and Guangzhou port, Shenzhen port and Hong Kong port are the same area, and the development path of big ports is dislocation and differentiation, focusing on the development of oil and gas chemicals, coal, ore, natural gas and other bulk cargo and container transportation Zhuhai port has 52 port projects completed, under construction and under preparation, with a total investment of about 30 billion yuan. 19 projects, including two 50000 DWT container berths, the first 150000 DWT dry bulk cargo berth and 100000 DWT main channel, have been completed and put into operation, with an investment of nearly 7 billion yuan. The 100000 DWT container berth, the 100000 DWT coal terminal and the 80000-270000 m3 unloading terminal of Guangdong LNG Zhuhai terminal are progressing smoothly. Zhuhai port is building a modern collection and distribution system with the most developed and cost advantage in the West Bank of the Pearl River Estuary, which integrates river sea combined transportation, sea rail combined transportation, sea public combined transportation, sea air combined transportation and pipeline transportation. The 100000 DWT main channel, supported by the state's 176 million yuan fund, has been completed and put into trial operation in early 2012. The preliminary work of 150000 DWT main channel expansion project has been started, and construction will start in the second half of this year. Guangzhou Zhuhai railway resumed construction in 2008 and will be completed and opened to traffic in 2013. The capacity expansion project of Xijiang shipping trunk line and speeding up the improvement of the high-grade waterway network in the Pearl River Delta have been included in the 12th Five Year Plan of China's inland water transport and are being implemented. Gaolan Port Expressway and airport expressway will be opened to traffic in 2012. The Pearl River Delta Intercity natural gas pipeline network is about to start construction. In the north, along the Beijing Guangzhou railway and Guiyang Guangzhou railway, and in the west, there are rivers in Yunnan, Guangxi and Qianxi. The rudiment of modern collection and distribution system has emerged. As an important strategic resource, Zhuhai port's desire to participate in the rise of central China and the development of Western China is becoming a reality.

In 2010, the cargo throughput of Zhuhai Port exceeded 60 million tons, ranking the first among the 24 main coastal hub ports in China. In 2011, the total cargo throughput of Hong Kong was 71.7 million tons, up 18.4% year on year. Among them, the container throughput was 814900 TEUs, an increase of 16% over the same period last year, and continued to maintain a rapid growth momentum. It is estimated that Zhuhai port will become one of the 100 million ton ports in China in 2013.

During the 12th Five Year Plan period, the development goal of Zhuhai port and Pearl Harbor is to gradually build a coastal container trunk port, a large energy security port in the Pearl River Delta and even South China, and a regional logistics center. To this end, Zhuhai port will invest 23 billion yuan to build 33 wharves and supporting facilities projects, and add 29 berths above 10000 tons. The number of specialized and public berths has increased significantly, and the structural contradictions of ports and terminals have been comprehensively improved. By 2015, the total number of berths above 10000 tons in Hong Kong will reach 46, accounting for 23.9% of the total productive berths in Hong Kong, up from 13.5% at the end of 2011, reaching the level of domestic advanced ports.

The project under construction has completed an investment of 1.687 billion yuan, accounting for 144.13% of the annual plan. For six consecutive years, the annual investment plan has been overfulfilled. The 100000 ton container berth and the first phase of the special railway line for entering the port have been completed. The construction of the 50000 ton petrochemical terminal has started. The 150000 ton grain, petrochemical and Sany Heavy industry supporting terminal projects are progressing smoothly in the early stage. We deepened the cooperation between ports and railway regions, signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Qiannan Prefecture Government on land port logistics park, and delivered 2.37 million tons of port railway goods, up 135% year on year. Deepen the "Xijiang" strategy, sign the strategic cooperation agreement of Zhujiang Zhongjiang port, take the Xijiang port alliance built by Zhuhai Port Group as the platform, actively seize the important logistics nodes of Xijiang, such as Yunfu and Wuzhou, open 19 barge branch lines of Xijiang, cooperate with COSCO to open 4 new container domestic trade routes, and spare no effort to build a golden shipping channel with Gaolan Port as the leader. Throughout the year, the cargo throughput of Xijiang River Basin was 19650000 tons, up 31.9% year on year. In 2014, the cargo throughput was 107 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 6.8%; The container throughput was 1.17 million TEUs, with a year-on-year growth of 33.6%, breaking through the million TEUs mark for the first time, ranking the first in the container growth rate of China's 24 major coastal ports in 2014. In 2014, the city's port dispatching command center accepted 19662 ships entering and leaving the port, with a year-on-year increase of 44.80% (including 16369 ships of 10000 tons and below); 2225 ships of 10000-50000 tons; 954 ships of 50000-100000 DWT; 62 ships of 100000-150000 DWT; 52 ships of 150000 tons and above); It piloted 2306 Chinese and foreign ships. By the end of 2014, there were 155 productive berths, 27 berths above 10000 tons, and the handling capacity of the port was 151 million tons.
