Port of Wisbech (Port Code: GBWIS) is an inland port located on the River Nene in Wisbech, Isle of Ely, Cambridgeshire, United Kingdom. It is mainly used for cargo and industrial purposes, whose southern part houses a number of berths for yachts. The port provides a Port Health service to commercial ships, leisure craft and fishing vessels, and also runs a fortnightly service from Riga, Latvia importing from the Baltic. Wisbech is a small commercial port, with a quay, approx 800m in length and berthing for 9 vessels up to 2,000DWT. Imports at Wisbech are mainly steel, timber, bulk ore, bulk fertilisers. Exports are mainly grain. Approximately 100,000t of cargo are handled annually.
