Vyborg Port (Port Code: RUVYB) is a port located in the eastern part of the Gulf of Finland, 113 km. northwestern of St Petersburg, Russia. The port comprises numerous multipurpose public berths and handles predominantly dry bulk and breakbulk cargoes such as coal, steel, scrap and timber products. It is open year-round. The port is an important fishing port and also has ship-repair yards. Other industries of it include sawmilling, furniture making, and the manufacture of farm machinery and electrical equipment. Vyborg has cool summers and mild winters, and its beach resorts and health sanatoriums are popular attractions.
