Volos Harbour (Port Code: GRVOL) is a port situated at the center of Greek mainland, about 326 km north from Athens and Thessaloniki. It is the most important commercial port in Greece after Piraeus. Volos is more of an industrial harbour than a harbour for pleasure crafts. Therefore, there are only a few berths for yachts, and they are located at the floating jetty in front of the breakwater.
The port is connected by ferry and hydrofoil to the nearby Sporades Islands, which include Skiathos, Skopelos and Alonissos. There are also connections to Limnos, Lesvos, Chios and Skyros.
