Tawau Port (Port Code: MYTWU) is a port located on the east coast of Sabah. Tawau port is now considered a major port in the East coast for the volume it handles, second to Sandakan port. The port handles bulk palm oil, crude oil and general cargoes, with timber as the principal export. All petroleum oil products/LPG are discharged at Batu SPA Oil Jetty which is approximately 2km from Tawau town. Around 3,564 vessels, 5,832,000t of cargo including 42,401TEU are handled annually.
