Tarfaya port (port code:MATAR/MATFY) is protected to the west by the Canary Islands located 60 nautical miles. It is located West Africa in Morocco. In its current state the port is sheltered a main pier of 1150ml and a counter-dike of 270ml. A 210 m long wharf was built along the main pier.
Tarfaya’s port was recently renovated to accommodate larger vessels. The expansion of the Tarfaya port is currently underway in order to prop up the business growth of the port which will fuel up the economic and social development of the region.
