Port of Senj or Senj Harbour (Port Code:HRSEN) is on the mainland of the Croatian Coast, in the channel of Vinodolska. This port is the ideal location for the medium-sized boats. This marina is an excellent shelter for boats, being situated at the base of the mountains Velebit and Mala Kapela. It lies on the Northern strip of the Adriatic Coast, approx 72km S of Rijeka. The main commodities handled at the port are timber and firewood. The port is subject to NE winds in winter, at times reaching hurricane force, and can be dangerous for small vessels. Approx 8,000 cars and 25,000 passengers handled annually.
