Sanrong Port (Port Code: CNSRG), is located in the middle and lower reaches of the Xijiang River, backed by the southwest and facing the Pearl River Delta economic circle. The location advantage of connecting the east with the west is very prominent. After the waterway dredging in recent years, 5000-ton ships can reach Zhaoqing directly and realize river-sea direct transportation with the coastal ports. After nearly ten years of economic restructuring, The container throughput of Sanrong Port accounts for about 50% of the city's port throughput, and it has developed into a cargo port with the largest cargo throughput and the most perfect port supporting facilities in Zhaoqing city. In September 2012, The phase II terminal in Sanrongping port officially put into use. The port has extended its coastline to 316 meters, covering the area of 250000 square meters, with 500000 TEU container by ability and its cargo throughput of 7 million tons. It become the major inland port in pearl river delta and even the Xijiang river basin.
