Rabaul Port (Port Code: PGRAB) is a port located in St George's Channel, on the northern coast of New Britain. The port lies at the head of Simpson Harbor, the west-most of the two inlets on the northern side of Blanche Bay, and is sheltered from all winds. It is a spectacular harbor, and the town is a tourist destination. The port offers good anchorage in depth of up to 26m. There are three 12-meter workboats and also supply barges. Both fresh water and diesel are available alongside and at anchor. Approximately 600 vessels visit the port annually.
