Port of Qua Iboe (Port Code: NGQIB) is a port situated approximately 30km offshore, 25nm west of Calabar River entrance. The oil terminal consists of three SBM loading berths for the loading of Qua Iboe crude and condensate and numerous production platforms and rigs. Adverse weather conditions may be encountered during the rainy season (May-November) and strong cross currents are possible. Approximately 126 crude oil tankers are handled annually.
