Overview:

      It is located at the entrance of Brunei Bay on the northeast coast of Brunei, near the southeast side of the South China Sea. It is a deep-water port founded in 1973 and the largest port in Brunei.
      It has a tropical rain forest climate. The annual average temperature is 28 ℃. The rainfall is abundant, and the annual average rainfall is more than 3000mm. It is a semi diurnal tidal port with an average tidal range of 1.2m.
      There are three main berths in the port area, with a coastline of 428 meters long and a maximum water depth of 10.3 meters. The terminal berth includes a container berth and a general cargo berth. The bonded goods warehouse covers an area of 3500 square meters and has a freezer. The main export goods include petroleum, timber, liquefied natural gas, rubber and camphor, while the import goods mainly include machinery, food, transportation equipment, industrial products and drugs. The main trade objects are Japan, the United States, Singapore, South Korea, Thailand, Malaysia and the United States, of which exports to Japan account for about 50% of the total.
