Luganville (Port Code:VULUB) is the 2nd largest port city in Vanuatu (after Port Vila, Efate Island), which is located on Espiritu Santo Island's southeastern coast. Luganville is one of Vanuatu's busiest ports, especially as a transshipment point for copra, coconut oil, and cacao. Canal du Segond, the body of water separating the main island and Luganville from Aore Island, provides the town with an excellent sheltered harbour. Cruise ships to Espiritu Santo Island either dock at Luganville or anchor in Champagne Bay (near Hog Harbour, island's northeast coast).
