The terminal Copetro is dedicated to the distribution and processing of coal-to-liquid, refining or crude oil. It is located on the side of Ensenada del Puerto La Plata and covers an area of 115,909.30 square meters. The Port of San Diego West Wharf has a total area of 41 hectares of space for the future development of San Diego East, together with the Dog Peninsula. Santiago West Pier East is located at the central large pier at the entrance of the Ensenada Margin Canal, due to the limitations of the Santiago River and Canal West. The Dog Peninsula is a small part of the triangle shape located on the west side of the canal and Rio Santiago on the west side of River Head West Road in Santiago.
There is an internal dock, a tax warehouse of 42,100 square meters, and two warehouses with a total area of 11860 square meters. The total construction area is a collection of sandy beaches. They also operate terminals 4 and 5 at Terminal 3 West Side Canal and San Diego River Sites. They have permanent surveillance, CCTV surveillance, and personnel and vehicle control according to ISPS rules. In addition, this area has the possibility of being connected with general railway ports.
An important investment in itself, the reconstruction of Terminal 4 was initiated in 2010 and completed at the end of 2013, making the reconstruction a 173-meter extension of San Diego on the river bank. This terminal will allow the transportation of large vehicles and Panamax ships or the same type of mooring. Ahead is the depth of the pier designed for a draft of 0 to 36 feet.

The Port of La Plata (Port code:ARLPG) is located about 55 kilometers southeast of Buenos Aires, Argentina. The Port of La Plata is nine kilometers inland on the Rio de la Plata. Its deepwater facilities are located at Ensenada.The port of La Plata consists of 2 main berthing areas, Gran Dock and the Puerto Ingeniero Rocca Berth. Gran Dock is principally used by tankers from the National oil fields. Crude oil, petroleum products and liquid gas are handled. There is a refinery which is being continually extended, the pipeline to Puerto Rosales (Bahia Blanca) supplies much of the crude. There is also a petrochemical plant from which benzene and other petro chemicals are loaded. The Puerto Ingeniero Rocca Quay is the site of a cold rolling steel mill where imports of raw materials (in coils) are transformed into cold rolled steel sheets and wire for export.
