The port of Kish Island (Port Code:IRKIH) is located 17nm off the southern Iranian coast, approx 4nm southwest of the northern point of Kish Island. The port is protected by breakwaters. It has one jetty which can handle 3 small vessels simultaneously. Max size: Max LOA 60m, max draught 3.5m, max 2,500DWT. More than 1.96 million tons of oil and non-oil products were loaded and unloaded in Kish Port in the south of Iran during the eight months to Nov. 21, registering a 47% increase compared with the corresponding period in 2017. Over 9,960 vessels entered the port during the period, registering an 18% rise compared with the similar period in 2017. More than 510 of these vessels weighed over 1,000 tons.
