      The port of Bahamas, a Caribbean Sea state.Located on the South Bank of Grand Bahamas, the water load density is 1025.The tidal height is 1.07 m and 0.8 M.There is no prevailing wind direction.Forced pilotage.For communication, VHF channels 11, 13, 14 and 16, 2182, 2638 and 2738 kHz are used to call "free port harbour control".The estimated time of arrival of the vessel shall be notified to the port 72 hours and 24 hours in advance.Port service facilities are: ship repair, fueling, small boats, medical, traction, sewage, fresh water, supplies, repatriation, dry dock.The entrance channel is 91.44m wide and 9.14m deep;The coastline of the wharf is 320 meters long and the water depth is 9.14 meters;No. 3 berth is 717m long and 9.14m deep;No. 4 berth is 594m long and 8.2m deep;No. 2 berth is 766m long and 9.14m deep, including 5 ro ro berths.The oil tanker berth is an offshore island berth, with the length of 628m and 977m respectively, and the water depth of 16m and 26m respectively.

Freeport port (port code: BSFPO) is a medium-sized port in Bahamas. It is situated on the southwest side of Grand Bahama Island at the mouth of Hawksbill Creek.
The port is an important cruise vessel port of call and repair centre. It can accommodate 8 cruise vessels at the same time. Container, Ro-Ro and general cargo vessels are also handled. Because of its closeness to the USA, a number of companies have moved their transhipment business to the port. The tanker terminal is operated by the Bahamas Oil Refining Corporation (BORCO).
The port handles approximately 280,000t of cargo and 1,100,000TEU annually. Main imports to this port are agricultural products and building supplies. Principal exports from this port include seafood, aggregates and agricultural products.
