It is the main inland water transport hub to Germany, France and Switzerland.Ships with draft less than 9.45 meters can enter the port.The main entrance is from the channel of Rotterdam port to the Maas River, which is about 42km away from hook in the Netherlands. The water depth is 9.75m, the length is more than 135m, and the maximum ship width is more than 7.5m. Ships must be approved before they can sail from the port to the Maas River. Under normal circumstances, the captain is more than 175m,Vessels with a width of more than 23 meters or a draught of more than 9.14 meters are not allowed to sail in the MAS river. Oil tankers must have visibility of not less than 500 meters to pass.The second entrance road is 80 km from the southwest via the Longport canal and the Netherlands canal, with a maximum allowable draft of 7.6 meters at high tide.The tide in the port area is diurnal.The daily fluctuation is 1-1.2 meters, and the tide turns half an hour after the high tide and low tide.Port service facilities are: ship repair, refueling, dry dock, small boats, medical, traction, sewage, fresh water, supplies, repatriation.There are consuls from Denmark and Norway in the port area.The annual throughput is about 2.5 million tons.Wilhelmina harbor, with an area of 2104 hectares, can berth ocean going vessels with draft of about 9.44 meters.The breakwater is 91 meters wide.There are spacious transit warehouse and 18580 square meters open warehouse, which can be used to store bulk goods. They are connected with the railway at 24 meters of the breakwater. The jetty is 274 meters long and 9.4 meters wide. When the minimum tide is low, the front water depth is 9.44 meters.The ship must anchor in the basin between the breakwater and the jetty. When the minimum tide is low, the depth of the basin is 3.96-6.09m and there are nine mooring buoys.Juliana harbor, with a water area of 2732 hectares, is composed of three basins with a water depth of about 8.84 meters at the lowest tide.It is mainly used for loading and unloading of mineral oil and chemicals.There is a 250000 cubic meter fuel storage tank built in the port.There are seven jetties in the warehouse.For the loading and unloading operations of ocean going oil tankers and inland oil tankers, the transportation of each terminal is connected with the inland transportation network, which can give full play to the combined transportation advantages of inland oil tankers, trains, highways and oil tankers.Three of the jetties are used to handle vaseline and lubricants.There are two livestock feed wharves and two building materials wharves. Maligat port is composed of two basins. The port is closed by two sluices. One is 500m away from Wilhelmina and the other is 600m away from Juliana port.The water area of beigangchi is 728 hectares, the minimum water depth at low tide is 4.87 meters, and the water area of nangangchi is 890 hectares.The minimum water depth at low tide is 7.32 meters. Dordrecht port is also an important inland water transport hub. There are five main inland water transport terminals with a total length of 1850 meters;There are 7 docks shared by inland river ships and coastal ships, with a total length of 2656 meters. The minimum water depth at low tide is 2.4-3.0 meters.
