Diu port (Port Code: INDIU) is a sea port located on west coast of the Arabian Sea in Saurashtra region of Gujarat State. It is declared as Minor Port under Section 4 of Indian Port Act. Diu port was handling cargo passenger vessels for exporting salt, dry and fresh fish products of exquisite handicrafts made of ivory etc. and importing bamboo, molasses, Mangalore tiles, liquor, timber wood etc. which day by day reduced due to more sufficient facilities like landing, easy navigational channel etc. It used to be naval base of considerable strategic importance and also a vital link with the rest of India for overseas traders from the 14th to 16th Century.
At present, fishing vessels are the main tools of the Port Activity.
