Soroosh Terminal (port code: IRCYT), formerly known as "Cyrus or Syrus Terminal", is an artificial, single tanker mooring in the central northern Persian Gulf. It is situated approximately 50 nautical miles west-southwest of Kharg Island.
Loading at the terminal takes place from a floating storage unit (FSU) "Soreena", which is attached from aft to a SBM, and can export to tankers of up to 300,000DWT in a bow-to-bow tandem mooring arrangement. Water depth in the vicinity of the FSU is 40-45 meters. The FSU has a storage capacity of 2,200,000bbls of crude oil, and is connected to a pipeline from the Soroosh Oil Field, situated some 43 nautical miles west of Kharg Island.
The types of vessels regularly calling at this port are supply ships, accounting for about 35%; and Tugs, taking up around 21%. The maximum length of the vessels recorded to having entered this port is 176 meters. The maximum draught is 5 meters. The maximum deadweight is 1,475t.
