Port of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago.Located in the northwest of Trinidad Island, the maximum draught of ships allowed to enter the port is 9.75 meters.The loading density of water is 1025.The tidal range is 0.61m.The prevailing wind is to the West.Forced pilotage.VHF channel 16 is used for communication between ships and ports.Port holidays refer to Cape Pierre.Working hours are 24 hours a day.There are ship repair, boat, repatriation and dry dock facilities.Fresh water, food, fuel and medical conditions are available.The deep water terminal accepts trading ships of bauxite and manganese.The main wharf is composed of two berths, 274.3m long and 60.95m wide. The average berthing depth at low water level is 10.67m;The North Wharf has a berth for sea going vessels, 121.9 meters long and 7.62 meters deep.There is a large storage building in the east of the main terminal, 182.9 M×twenty-six point one nine×It has a storage capacity of 170000 tons.Open storage space can store 900000 tons, no warehouse or refrigeration space.

Chaguaramas Port (port code: TTCHA) is a medium-sized port in the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago. Situated at the west extremity of Point Gourde, it is a port of entry.
The port contains a repair yard and drydock for commercial vessels and a supply base handling cargo associated with the offshore oil and gas industry. There are also extensive facilities for yachts and recreational craft.
The port handles approximately 300 vessels annually, among which about 30.5% are sailing vessels, and 10% are fishing vessels. The maximum vessel that can be handled by the port’s repair dockyard is 22,000t in deadweight.
