Araya Port (port code: VEARA) is a leading port in Venezuela. It is situated 3 nautical miles west-northeast from the coast of Punta Escarceo.
The port is used for loading salt, bagged and in bulk. It provides facilities for handling break bulk and dry bulk.
The maximum draft being allowed is 8.5 meters. The maximum height of the hatch coaming should not exceed 9.75 meters and the maximum beam that can be handled is 20.4 meters.
