Anstruther Port (Port Code: GBANS), known locally as 'Anster,' is a municipal port, which is ideally situated for exploring the Firth of Forth or for a stop-over whilst sailing the east coast. 100 serviced pontoon berths and 8 visitor berths, a wide variety of shops, pubs and restaurants are adjacent to the harbour.
It once contained Scotland's main fishing fleet with over 1,000 boats. Fifty years ago, this picturesque port was so busy with fishing boats. Today pleasure craft moor in the harbour where the fishing boats used to seek refuge and unload their catches. Anstruther Harbour caters for leisure and small fishing vessels. There is approx. 400 metres of pierside berthing and 100 serviced pontoon berths for leisure craft.
