Laayoune Port(Port Code:MAEUN), also known as Aaiun Port, is a medium-sized port situated 650km SW of Agadir, in the Western Sahara region of Morocco. It is mainly a bulk phosphate terminal. The terminal, situated approx 3.6km from the coast, is served by conveyor systems and silos. There are also general cargo and fishery facilities available in small harbour. Imports include hydrocarbons, general sundries and cement. Exports phosphate, sand, frozen fish, fish oil and general sundries. There are approximately 4,500,000t of cargo handled annually.
