Overheight Cargo

Overheight Cargo is the cargo more than eight feet high which thus cannot fit into a standard container.

What is Overheight Cargo?

"Overheight cargo" refers to cargo that exceeds the maximum height limit for transportation on a given mode of transport, such as a truck, train, or ship. This can include items such as large machinery, vehicles, or construction materials that are taller than the standard height limit. Overheight cargo requires special handling and transportation arrangements, and may require permits or escorts to ensure that it can be moved safely and legally. The transportation of overheight cargo can also result in additional costs and logistical challenges, and it is important to carefully plan and coordinate the movement of such cargo in advance.
