ANSI (American National Standards Institute)

ANSI is an organization that develops and publishes a set of voluntary product standards, most commonly in relation to electronic communication, unit load and transportation package sizes for containers.

What is ANSI (American National Standards Institute)?

The American National Standards Institute (ANSI) is a private non-profit organization that oversees the development of voluntary consensus standards for products, services, processes, systems, and personnel in the United States. ANSI works with industry stakeholders, government agencies, and other organizations to develop and promote standards that enhance safety, efficiency, and competitiveness in various sectors of the economy. ANSI also represents the United States in international standardization activities and serves as the official U.S. member body to the International Organization for Standardization (ISO).
