Luhansk International Airport (IATA: VSG, ICAO: UKCW) was an international airport serving the city of Luhansk, Ukraine. The airport was located 20km south of the city centre, and nine km to the city limit. The airport was officially closed on 11-Jun-2014, after it was significantly damaged in fighting between Ukrainian forces and Russian separatists in 2014.From December 2009 to its closure in 2014, Luhansk International Airport was a base airport of the Ukrainian airline UTair-Ukraine.In2012,it handle more than 50 thousand passengers.
