      Port on the Atlantic coast of southern Iceland. When using the medium time zone standard. The maximum draft is 5.5 meters. The loading density of water is 1025. The tidal range is 2 to 2.3 meters. East to southeast wind prevails. Forced pilotage. The ship is expected to inform the pilot station of the arrival time through the radio station of swastmanaea. Working hours: 08:00-17:00. Port service facilities include: ship repair, fueling, small boats, medical treatment, fresh water supply, provision, repatriation, dry dock, traction and sewage facilities. There is a good anchorage 1.6km north of the port entrance, with facilities ranging from 28m to 34m. In the northeast of the port, the submarine water pipe and a 30000 volt submarine cable pass through, and it is forbidden for ships to anchor in this area. The port can accommodate 5000 ton container ships, bulk carriers and oil tankers.
