Vejle Port (Port Code: DKVEJ) is a medium-sized port situated on the eastern coast of Jutland at the end of Vejle Fjord, approximately 105nm western of Copenhagen. The harbour consists of a single long basin with quays on either side and a yacht harbour situated on the northern side at its end. It mainly serves for general cargo, oil tanker pleasure craft and fishing boats. Imports include steel, coal, chemicals, fertilisers, grain, food stuffs and gravel. Exports include grain, timber, steel and scrap. Approximately 700 vessels and 800,000-900,000t of cargo are handled annually.
