Trabzon Port (Port Code: TRTZX) is a port located on the Black Sea coast, approximately 170km west of the Georgian border. Trabzon is an important and modern port with transit trade to Iran and Iraq and a Free Zone area. The port consists of an outer harbour providing good anchorage for vessels awaiting berthing and a sheltered inner harbour, protected by 2 breakwaters. Exports transported through the port include cereals, vegetables, fruit, tea and hazelnuts. Approximately 650 vessels visit the port annually. The largest vessel handled there is "The World". The overall length of the vessel is 200 meters, and draught is 10.5 meters.
