Suape Port (Port Code: BRSUA) is a seaport located in the city of Ipojuca and Cabo de Santo Agostinho, in the state of Pernambuco, Brazil. It is one of the main ports of Brazil and Latin America and the largest public port in the Northeast Region, occupying the fifth position in the national ranking. It has multi-purpose commercial berths and LPG berths. Access to the inner harbour is via a gap 300m wide, in the training wall. The Container Terminal lies on the south side of the inner harbour extending at right angles to the training wall. The new Atlantico Sul shipyard is located to the north of the Inner Harbour. Approximately 3,757,200t of cargo, 300,000TEU and 600 vessels are handled annually.
