Stromness Port (Port Code: GBSTR) is a port in the Orkney Islands, on the souhwest coast of Mainland, to the west of Scapa Flow. It is an open roadstead port predominantly used for ferry traffic. It also handles cargoes of coal and fish farming equipment. The harbour is quite small, providing just 3 berths. These are suitable for accommodating small general cargo and Ro-Ro vessels. Approximate 100,000 tons of cargo is handled annually. The maximum length of the vessel the port can handle is 115 meters. The maximum draught is 5 meters.
