Sandnes Port (Port Code: NOSNS) is a port situated at the end of the Gandsfjord, 15km south of Stavanger. The harbour is an ice free port throughout the year and is well sheltered. The port has bulk, tanker and general cargo berths available. There are liner and scheduled services to a number of Baltic, Northern European and Norwegian ports. There is a Statoil tanker berth at Lura, 2km north of Sandnes. Approximately 230,000 tons of cargo and over 1,200 vessels are handled annually.
