Samcheok port (Port Code:KRSAM) is a small commercial and fishing harbor with cement being one of its major exports, also general and oil cargoes handled. It is located on the SE coast of Korea, 4.5nm NW of Pi Mal and stands on the N side of the mouth of Osib Chon. The harbor is enclosed by two breakwaters with a narrow entrance. Inside there is a large outer basin with three wharves for cargo vessels and a N inner basin for fishing vessels.
