Otterbäcken (Port Code:SEOTT) is Lake Vänern’s only natural deep-water port, which is located in the east part of Lake Vanern close to the Gota Canal. It offers loading and unloading, forwarding and clearing of mainly bulk cargo. It includes 7,000 m2 port warehouse, 100,000 m2 outdoor storage, 2 mobile cranes, Forklifts, loading equipment and Bobcat machines, Icebreaker tugboat. Approx 300,000t cargo handled annually. Max size: LOA 88m, draught 5.4m, max beam 13m Largest vessels handled: Tidan and Nossan, both 4,250DWT minibulkers, draught 5.3m.
