The Port of Oran (Port Code:DZORN) or Port of Wahran is an Algerian port in the west of the country and exactly in the city of Oran, overlooking the Mediterranean Sea and is considered one of the important ports in each of the fields of trade and marine transportation.
Oran is situated 400km west of Algiers. The port consists of seven basins with a water area of 120ha protected by breakwaters. Oran is a major commercial harbour with extensive facilities available for handling most types of cargo including general cargo, liquid petroleum products, coal and grain, containers and Ro-Ro/passenger traffic. Approx 3,161,800t of cargo and approx 1,100 vessels are handled annually. Max size: LOA 243m, draught 11.6m.
