Narssarssuaq (Port Code:GLUAK) is located inside Skovfjord and Tunulliarfik in southern Greenland. The port is open from May to Nov and closed during the winter months because of ice accretion. The port handles general cargo and containers and, in addition, is a staging post for air services to Greenland. There is a small yacht haven here with two pontoons inside a breakwater. Max size: Length 110m, beam 18m, draught 7.0m, 7,500DWT.
Narsarsuaq has a deep-water port where boats and cruise ships can dock / moor. The port is approx 2,5 km (1,5 mi) south of the terminal building. Bus transfers for cruise tourists are provided. A 26 km (16 mi) long gravel road connects Narsarsuaq with Qassiarsuk (around the fjord). Regularly scheduled boat service to Qaqortoq is also available.
