Manzanillo Port (port code: DOMAN), also known as Pepillo Salcedo Port, is a small port in Dominican Republic. It lies at the head of Bahia Manzanillo on the east side of the mouth of the Massacre River, close to the border with Haiti.
The port was built in the 1950s by the Dominican Fruit Company (Grenada), a North American company dedicated to exporting bananas and other small fruits but was abandoned many years ago. The pier has undergone extensive repairs.
The port has facilities for handling break bulk. It is mainly used for exporting bananas, but it can also handle general cargo, containers, cement, clinker and coal and other different types of cargo, in bulk. Each year approximately 50 vessels exporting fresh fruit, mainly bananas visit this port.
