Loni (Port Code:INLON) is located on the northeastern border of Delhi in Ghaziabad district of UP and is surrounded by the manufacturing hubs of Ghaziabad, Sahibabad, Meerut, Sonipat, Panipat, Karnal, Kundli, and other parts of western UP. The ICD started its operations in March, 2007 and presently handles a monthly throughput of about 14000 TEU.
Loni has 27.5 Acres of Customs bonded area, which includes 200,000 Sq. Ft. of fully covered and developed warehousing space. Infrastructure is also in place to handle refrigerated containers with 140 reefer plug points and 100% power back up. Handling equipment in place includes 2 Rubber Tired Gantry Cranes, 7 Linde Reach Stackers, 1 Empty Container Handler, 3 Hydra Cranes, 5 Forklifts and 20 Internal Shifting Trailers.
