Kinsale (Port Code:IEKIN) is a virtually land locked harbour, whichis situated on the estuary of the Bandon River, approx 11nm southwest of Cork harbour entrance and approx 8nm northeast of the Old Head of Kinsale. Both the Inner and Outer Harbours cover approx 5km² and provide good anchorages. The port has two fully serviced marinas with visitors berths and a limited number of swinging moorings available. Imports: Mostly animal feed. Exports: Timber. Approx 100 vessels and 160,000t of cargo handled annually. Max size: LOA 90m, 3,000DWT. Draught 5.0m on top of predicted height of tide. Largest vessel handled: "Elizabeth", LOA 96m, 4,200DWT, draught 5.5m (spring tide).
