The port of Jorf Lasfar (Port Code: MAJOL/MAJFL) is a deepwater commercial port and a hub for phosphate, fertilizers, and other chemicals. The port of Jorf Lasfar is one of the biggest in Morocco, and located on the Atlantic coast south-west of the city of El Jadida at coordinates N 33° 07' 22.80" - W 008° 37' 51.60". Main exports are phosphates and other minerals, chemicals, gases, oil, containers, fertilisers and general cargoes. Approximately 700 vessels and 13,302,955t of cargo handled annually. The maximum draught is 15.5m. The maximum deadweight is about 120,000DWT. The maximum length of the vessels recorded to having entered this port is 300 meters.
