      Honiara Port is a commercial port in the Solomon Islands. Located in Kua Bay on the northwest coast of Canal Island, Guadaljunyala Seascape in the south-central Solomon Islands, northeast of the port city, 848 nautical miles from the port of Morbitz in Papua New Guinea on the west and 273 nautical miles from the port of Kieta in the northwest. , Rabaul Port is 582 nautical miles, 1211 nautical miles southeast of Suvar Port, the capital of Fiji; 924 nautical miles from Noumea Port in French New Caledonia, and 599 nautical miles southwest to Sydney, Australia; the port area is located in Crewe In the Kua Bay in the southeastern recess of Cape Si, the main quay wharf is on the northwest bank of Kua Bay and runs southwest to northeast. The northeast section is a deep-water pier, which is 71.6 meters long and has a water depth of 9.4 meters. The southwest section is 120 meters long, but the water depth is only 1.8-3.9 Meters, used for small boats; there are four small finger-shaped jetties on the southwest bank, and two old and new jetties in the southeast with lengths of 61 and 110 meters, used for oil imports. The old wharf only allows tankers with a draft of up to 3.96 meters to berth; the new wharf allows tankers with a draft of 8.84 meters to berth; there are buoys in the harbor for mooring ships with a draft of 9.75 meters. The port exports copra, timber, fish products, and imports grain, machinery, petroleum, and general merchandise.
