The port handles approximately 52,000,000t of cargo and 1,800,000TEU annually. Cargo handled include containers, raw materials, bulk cargoes, including oil (crude and products), chemicals, frozen foods, perishable goods, manufactured goods, Ro-Ro and general cargoes.
About 5,800 vessels and 3,650,000 passengers visit this port annually. About 46% of vessels regularly calling at this port are cargo vessels.
