Fortaleza port (port code: BRFOR) is a medium-sized port in Brazil. It is located on the north Brazilian coast, midway between Recife and Belem, in Mucuripe Bay.
The port consists of single dry cargo wharf, 1,116 meters in length, which handles a wide range of cargoes including imports of cotton, cement, rice, newspaper, and containers. Specialised cargo is loaded and discharged at two ore and bulk cargo terminals, tanker terminal, liquefied gas terminal and fishing wharf.
