Castletown Bearhaven Port (Port Code: IECAB), also known as Castletownbere Port, is a port located on Ireland’s southwest coast, near the entrance and on the north shore of Bantry Bay. It is one of the busiest fishing ports in Ireland, situated within the highly protected area of water called Berehaven that lies between Bear (Bere) Island and the mainland. It also serves as a primary commercial and retail hub for the local hinterland. Located on the Wild Atlantic Way, tourism is also important to the local economy. The harbour welcomes anchoring leisure craft to anchor and also provides visitor moorings immediately outside the harbour area.
