Cagayan de Oro Port (port code: PHCGY) is a medium-sized port in Philippines. Located on the east coast of Mindanao Island, it is the focal point of domestic and foreign trade for the province of Misamis Oriental and the outlet of the vast agricultural products from the province of Bukidnon.
The port handles approximately 11.1 million tons of cargo and 200,000TEU annually. The main exports leaving this port include corn and corn products, live animals, fruits, vegetables, lumber, plywood and veneer. The principal imports entering this port are consumer goods, sugar, fertiliser, iron, steel, animal feeds and bottled cargoes.
Each year about 15,000 vessels and 1.8 million passengers visit this port annually. The types of vessels regularly calling at this port are cargo vessels, accounting for around 78%; and tankers, taking up approximately 12.5%.
