Spanish port on the South Atlantic coast.When East 1 standard is adopted.The loading density of water is 1025.The tidal range is 1.83M and westerly wind prevails.Compulsory pilotage, VHF channel 16 for communication.Working hours: 08:00-12:00, 13:00-17:00, overtime is allowed.Port service facilities include: ship repair, fueling, dry dock, small boats, medical treatment, traction, sewage, fresh water, supplies and repatriation.The approach channel is outside the sandbank and has a good anchorage.It is 3.21 km south of rota and the water depth of the channel is 9 meters.Cadiz is the main shipbuilding and ship repair center in southern Spain. Dry dock and water dock can accept 12 movable 125 ton cranes and 1 special container crane for ships under 40 DWT.All wharves have fresh water supply. The water supply for anchor ships in the anchorage is carried out by naval water barges according to the instructions of the port authorities. Fuel oil can be added and supplies can be provided according to the prior application.Good ship repair facilities and tank cleaning service.Ten tugs with 1100-2400 horsepower are available.No.1 jetty and 3 cranes of 2-6 tons;Jetty 2, 6 grain 3-6 ton crane;Jetty 3, 1 5T crane;Grand Marshal wharf, 3 6T cranes and 2 3T cranes.The maximum allowable capacity of the wharf is 181200 DWT and the maximum draft is 15m.

Cadiz Port (port code: ESCAD) is a medium-sized port in Spain. It is situated in the south part of the Iberian Peninsula, only 40 kilometers from Jerez airport, which has a customs service for exports and imports and for transit operations.
The port comprises the 4 commercial harbours of Cadiz, International Free Zone, Puerto Real, Puerto de Santa Maria and 2 fishing harbours and is an important shipbuilding and ship repair centre. It is equipped to handle all types of cargo and handles approximately 4.85 million tons of cargo and 126,400TEU annually. The main exports leaving this port include minerals in bulk, chemicals, iron and steel products, clinker, wine and general cargo. The principal imports entering this port are oil products, coal, chemical products and general cargo.
Each year about 1,700 vessels and 224,650 passengers visit this port. The types of vessels regularly calling at this port are sailing vessels, accounting for around 20.5%; and cargo vessels, taking up around 20%. The maximum length of the vessels recorded to having entered this port is 363 meters. The maximum draught is 11.5 meters. The maximum deadweight is 82,849t.
