The Port of Alicante (Spanish: Puerto de Alicante) is a port on the southeast coast of Spain. Adopt East 1 district standard time. Coordinates: 0o -29' -4' W, 38o 20' 31' N. The load density of water is 1025. The tidal range is 0.30 meters and the westerly wind prevails. Compulsory pilotage, radio VHF channel 16 for communication. Working hours: 08:00-12:00, 14:00-18:00, overtime is available. Port service facilities include: ship repair, refueling, small motorboats, medical treatment, towing, fresh water, supplies and repatriation, without dry dock and sewage. The anchorage is good. No sandbars. The water depth of the entry channel is about 9.14 meters. Outer Harbor, the water depth is 7.92-9.14 meters, and the total length of the wharf is 2155.12 meters. Inner harbor, the water depth is 6.10-7.01 meters, and the total length of the wharf is 792.48 meters. There are 34 cranes of 1.5-10 tons and 2 special container cranes in the outer port terminal. There are 8 3-6 ton cranes and 1 30 ton floating crane in the inner port. Outer port cargo can be directly loaded by truck to the railway station.

Alicante Port (port code: ESALC) is an important commercial port for Madrid, the capital of Spain. With extensive connections by air, rail, and road, it lies on the shores of the Alicante Bay off the Mediterranean Sea on the southwestern coast of Spain, 70 nautical miles south of Valencia.
The port’s commercial basins contain three multi-purpose wharves totaling 450 meters long with alongside depth of 14 meters. Two wharves for liquid bulk cargoes total over 300 meters long with alongside depth of from 9 to 11.2 meters. Four wharfs handling dry bulk cargoes have total length of 700 meters and alongside depth of from 8 to 11.2 meters. Three wharves handle roll-on/roll-off cargoes. Totaling almost 600 meters long with alongside depth of from 6.5 to 8 meters, three of these ro-ro wharves also handle general merchandise (No. 14) and passengers (Nos. 10 and 12).
One wharf of 154 meters with alongside depth of 8.5 meters serves containers and liquid bilk, and one wharf of 200 meters with alongside depth of 9.4 meters is dedicated to containers. Finally, the passenger wharf is 196 meters long with alongside depth of 6.5 meters. The port also has three wharves serving the fishing industry, and it is constructing four new fishing wharves. Wharves in non-commercial basins serve other local traffic. In all, the port features over 6.5 thousand meters of wharves.
The port handles approximately 3 million tons of cargo and 113,000TEU annually. The principal exports from this port are wine, petroleum products, quicksilver, onions, pottery, fruit and esparto grass.
The type of vessels regularly calling at this port is sailing vessels, accounting for about 71%. The maximum length of the vessels recorded to having entered this port is 332 meters. The maximum draught is 10.9 meters. The maximum deadweight is 85,005t.
