Aabenraa port (port code: DKAAB) is a modern Danish commercial port and one of Denmark's largest ports. Situated on the east coast of Jylland (Jutland) at the head of Aabenraa Fjord, approximately 25 nautical miles from Haderslev, the port is an important transport hub in the southern part of southern Jutland and the northern part of Germany.
The port has two tanker piers and a ro-ro terminal. Annually, the port handles about 580 vessels and 2,066,000t of cargo. Main exports from this post include timber, grain, fuel oils and gas oils. Main imports vary from broken stone and timber to oils and foodstuffs.
The port’s maximum draught is 10.5 meters and maximum deadweight is 60,000t. The largest vessel the port has ever handled is "Standard Ardour" whose deadweight is 68,490t with a maximum draught of 10.4 meters.
