Customs House Broker
Customs house broker is an independent broker certified by the U.S. Bureau of Customs to act for importers and businessmen in the handling of customs formalities and other details of importing and exporting goods.
Customs house broker is an independent broker certified by the U.S. Bureau of Customs to act for importers and businessmen in the handling of customs formalities and other details of importing and exporting goods. A customs broker will work with importers to check that the documentation, and where necessary, licenses, are in place for the goods they are bringing into the UK. They'll also make sure that the correct duty and taxes are paid, to reduce any delays.
